Heron’s Ghyll “World Cup” style fun day.          Thursday 15th August 2024.

These are the photos of the visit to our good friends at Heron’s Ghyll.  See how many of the people you can recognise from our Monday Group.  At the time this was taken our Thursday Group  members were still being assessed for ongoing Health & Safety and were not able to join us.  We’re delighted that everyone’s assessment is now probably behind us.

Christmas Lunch at the Yew Tree Inn, Chalvington.         7th December 2023.

These are the photos of our Kipling members who stood still long enough to be photographed (!) during our superb Christmas Lunch at the Yew Tree Inn.  All thanks to our committee, Sue O’Dell for organising things so brilliantly, and the staff at the Yew Tree Inn who provided such a superb meal.  The new driving season will soon be here!

Para Driving World Championships.                      23-27th August 2023

Tracey Spencer achieved her 10 year dream of representing Great Britain in her first international event at Exloo in the Netherlands. Tracey drove ‘Cadfach Gentleman Jim’, better know to Kipling County RDA as ‘Bill’.

Tracey wishes to thank Sarah Howe from Sevenoaks ‘Bradbourne Riding and Training Centre’ for all her help and support in achieving this, her first goal.

Winkle Jubilee Fun with Herons Ghyll.   9th June 2022.

Pavilion Open Day & Competition Results – 13th July 2019.

(All the rosettes were presented by Matilda, being Nick Clutton’s grand-daughter)

Class 1 Results:-

Linda came 1st, and we caught her just in time before she was whisked off by her dad.

Ashley came 2nd, and modestly tries to hide his smile with his rosette.

Tim came 3rd, and just look at the huge smile on his face.

(Sally came 4th, but had to leave with Stuart just before the awards.)

Timmy came 5th, and he loves to sing all around the field.

Class 2 Results:-

Noah came 1st. Noah is usually very shy, but look at the pride in his face.

Susie came 2nd, and should also have won an award for her pretty top.

Josie came 3rd. She concentrates very hard and is usually to be found in the medal table.

Gay came 4th, and it’s lovely to see her so happy.

Class 3 Results:-

Gary came 1st. He is such a popular member of our group and it’s great to see him succeed.

Graeme came 2nd, and is pleased as punch with a great result.

Amanda came 3rd, and is the kind lady who brings carrots and polo mints for our horses.

Ella came 4th, looking very “summery” in her lolly-pop top.

How lovely to see Vickie & Frances with us again, and how well they both look!

Friends of Baronsmede – 20th September 2018.
On 20th September, we were surprised and thrilled to receive a donation of £500 from the Friends of Baronsmede which is really kind of them. That money will help make a huge difference to Kipling County, and we are very grateful.

Para World Championships – 28th August 2018.
Joanne McNicol drove Texas with Andrea back-stepping, competing in her first International Event at Kronenburg in the Netherlands. She did Andrea, Texas, her family, Kipling County & Great Britain proud by coming 5th out of 9 of the best competitors from around the world.

Andrea stands proudly beside Jo, coming 5th in her first International Event. What a superb pair!

Also competing in Great Britain Group 1 Team was Jamie Williams driving Pentrefelin Galaxy. Members will remember that Jamie started driving as a member of Kipling County. The Welsh amongst us will know that Pentrefelin means “Village Mill” & Galaxy means “Stars” and coming 4th out of 15 International Competitors is exactly what he is!

Heron’s Ghyll One Day Event. 30th August 2018.
